The Chartless phone app, in Chrome. Click the toolbar icon and the side panel opens with the same five tabs — Tuner, Chart, Practice, Strings, Settings — or open it in a full tab for a bigger, tablet-style layout.
Same screens, same feel, right next to the page you're playing. The side panel stays open while you browse, and your 1.x settings carry over. Prefer the old floating chord box on the page? It's still there — one switch in Settings.
Press Chart and Chartless follows the song in your tab: the current chord with its fingering, what's next, the key, the tempo, and a beat that pulses in time. Or switch to Mic and it charts what you play, with next-chord ideas for songwriters.
Let a song play through and Chartless re-reads it into bars — meter (4/4, 3/4, 6/8) and downbeat included. Tap the 1 if it guessed wrong, tap bars to loop them. In mic mode, pause and resume, remove a bar you flubbed, and Stop keeps the chart.
Pick an audio file on your computer and Chartless reads the whole song first, then plays it back with the chart already on screen.
One tap locks detection to the seven chords of the key (1 2m 3m 4 5 6m ♭7). Everything else is ignored — perfect for songs that stay in one key with steady changes. Advanced mode is there for jazz and fast-moving songs.
See 1 · 4 · 5 instead of letter names, transpose to a friendlier key, or let the capo advisor say "capo 1 · play G shapes" — and it knows your tuning.
